One of the BEST things about being stationed here in England is TRAVEL. Everything is so close - just a simple car ride, train ride, ferry trip or airplane ride away. The nearest commercial airport to RAF Mildenhall is Stansted Airport. Hundreds of flights leave out of Stansted every day and fly all over Europe.
